Jane was elected as the first Non-Executive Chair of Data Action Board in July 2016. She is an accomplished Board Director and experienced businesswoman with an extensive board, executive and consulting expertise across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
In addition to her role as Facilitator for the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Jane has more than 30 years’ experience as an Executive, Chief Executive, Director and Chair of organisations in Tourism, Hospitality, Gaming, Education, Aged Care, Financial Services, Arts and Sport.
Her current Board appointments include Director of Funds SA, Director of Iocane Pty Ltd, Chair of West Beach Trust (West Beach Parks), Chair of Gaming Care (Australian Hotels Association Early Intervention Agency), and Chair of Guildhouse.
Wayne joined the Board in 2005 having served as both Director and Chairman as well as the Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee. He has 29 years experience in finance, treasury, risk management and administration and is currently the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Beyond Bank Australia, having joined as Chief Financial Officer in 2001, where he manages a number of corporate support functions.
Wayne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Australasian Mutuals Institute. Wayne is also a Director of Community CPS Services Pty Ltd and Beyond Employee Benevolent Fund Pty Ltd.
Louise joined the Board of Data Action in July 2018 and and has over 25 years-experience in banking and finance in both Australia and the UK. She joined Bank Australia in 2014 as the head of Treasury and has been Chief Financial Officer since 2016. Louise is responsible for Bank Australia’s financial management and treasury operations.
Grant joined the Board in 2012 with over 25 years Executive/Senior Management experience within the mutual sector in Australia. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Credit Union SA Ltd.
Grant's experience includes managing corporate strategic initiatives relating to mutual mergers, organisational transformation and design, large entity acquisitions, organisation wide re-engineering programs, enterprise-wide risk management programs and finance, technology and balance sheet management.
Grant has a Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy and is a Fellow of the Certified Practicing Accountants, Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Fellow of FINSIA and a Director of the Credit Union Pageant Company.
Peter was appointed to the Data Action Board in December 2016. He is currently Chief Risk Officer for People's Choice Credit Union and previously held Executive positions in operations and risk management at Rural Bank. Peter has also held senior leadership positions at APRA and has considerable experience in strategic planning, organisational design, risk management and banking operations. Peter holds a B.Comm in Finance and Accounting and a FINSIA Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investments.
A strong advocate for the customer-owned banking model, Andrew commenced as CEO for P&N Bank in January 2014. Having completed a Bachelor of Commerce he is also a Senior Fellow Member of Finsia and a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Andrew now leads a dynamic team of over 300 staff and is active in the everyday running of the business.
With a background that includes significant leadership roles with Australia’s largest mutual banking organisation, Credit Union Australia, Andrew has held several General Management roles in Strategy & Marketing, Operations, Member Relations & Advice and Sales & Distribution
