Data Action Chief Executive to move on after almost six years
Data Action Chief Executive Officer Karl Grant has announced his resignation and will leave the company on March 31, 2019 after almost six years at the helm.
Data Action is a leading specialist software and services provider to the financial services industry, with clients including Beyond Bank, Credit Union SA, People's Choice Credit Union, Bank Australia and P&N Bank.
Mr Grant joined the team as CEO in 2013 and led the company's transformation through the reinvigoration and introduction of Data Action's 'Technology Roadmap' as well as its client relationship management function. He also oversaw the introduction of the company's next generation digital banking (DV3) and award-winning mobile app.
Since 2013, Data Action's annual revenue has risen from $32.8 million to $49.2 million.
Data Action Chair, Ms Jane Jeffreys paid tribute to Mr Grant's contribution to Data Action's development and growth during a period of significant change and increasing global competition.
"On behalf of the Board of Data Action, I thank Karl for his hard work and loyalty over the past six years and wish him all the best in the next stage of his career," Ms Jeffreys said.
Ms Jeffreys said a search for Mr Grant's replacement would commence shortly.
Until March 31, it will be business as usual with Karl continuing to lead the company's strategy and working to ensure a smooth transition for the business.
