Discover where it all began

In 1986 we began as a co-operative, by merging five local credit unions to provide hosted core banking services.

In 1997 we commenced a selection process for a new core banking system (CBS), which culminated in the migration of our first client to the new core platform in September 2001. Since then we have performed over 80 migrations and mergers to this platform.

In 2011 DA expanded its selling rights in Australia and New Zealand, under our rebranded product, DA Core Banking System (DA CBS).

Since 2015 we have launched a number of products and enhancements as part of our technology roadmap, which focuses on mobile-first principles and payment innovation, including:

  • Fully responsive digital banking platform
  • Personal financial management
  • DA banking app
  • Western Union international money transfers
  • New payments platform
  • Open Banking for Product Reference Data

Notably, we achieved PCI DSS 3.1 compliance in 2015 and have continued to maintain this certification every year since.
