Queensland Country successfully transition to DA Banking

We are pleased to announce that Queensland Country Credit Union have recently launched DA Banking on the weekend of October 1st and 2nd.

Recognising the need to adapt in today’s challenging financial environment, Queensland Country made the decision to transition to a modern banking system. The move was not just a Core Banking change for the Credit Union, as they also introduced DA Digital, Native App and Lending.

Queensland Country, who were awarded a top 5 place in last year’s ‘Mozo People’s Choice Award’ for Credit Unions, have been providing banking services to customers in regional Queensland since 1971. Today they have almost 60,000 members and 21 branches, and are able to offer a full range of competitive financial services. They’re also in the process of a merger with ECU which was announced earlier this year in May.

Although Queensland Country have been performing well despite industry challenges, they understood that businesses must adapt to position themselves well for the future. Subsequently, they made the decision to work with DA to upgrade their technology based on their commitment to providing competitive financial services to their members.

With the new system, Queensland Country are able to deliver a streamlined, account-based membership structure to all their members. Having a single member number and a unique account number for each account, provides members with greater flexibility and control over their banking. Members also have greater flexibility in managing their fixed terms deposits (FTD). Queensland Country’s Internet and mobile banking services were also upgraded, affording an improved experience for users.

We are very honoured to have Queensland Country join our Client Community and are confident their transition to DA Banking will ensure they meet the needs of their members as well as facilitate further improvement in the years to come .We look forward to working together both now and in the future.
