In what promises to be a great move forward for Customer Owned Banks and Credit Unions, our partners, Cuscal, have signed an agreement with Apple to expand the Apple Pay payment service in Australia. While ANZ and AMEX are already using Apple Pay, this agreement will now see over 30 Customer Owned Banks and Credit Unions launching the service.  We are pleased to announce that this includes seven of our clients; Bank Australia, Beyond Bank, Credit Union SA, Defence Bank, EECU, People’s Choice Credit Union and Intech Credit Union.

Using Apple Pay, customers and members of these organisations will be able to pay for everyday purchases via online, apps and in store channels.  The payment service is simple and secure, working by using Touch ID with an iPhone or Apple Watch, and happens within seconds.
